All news Wednesday

The day started pretty good. But it ended quite overwhelming.

We didn't know how to react. I didn't know how to react. When the news was told, we wished we hadn't heard it. I wished I didn't.

I'm not sure if it's all pity. If the person's happy, we should be happy too. Right? Or maybe not. I don't know how responsibilities will be handled. 'No' would have been so right. There might have been a different life ahead. But it's too late for that now.

The play is entirely different if you're the key actors. That's why we need friends who act as spectators. It's worth the while to see things from a spectator's perspective.

Not that it means happiness will be relied on others. No. But it wouldn't hurt to consider an outsider's standpoint. It might have a valid ground. It might be the slap we need to wake up.

I guess I wouldn't really understand it.

The weather ended the day perfectly. The rain summed up everything.

Birdey bridey's shower

It was a secret. As all showers are. And when she entered door 46 of Party World, she really got the shock of her life.

Our little sister is finally getting married. When I was 24, I was still busy complaining about how harsh work was. But our baby sister is already planning for the greatest endeavor of her life.

And it will be one of the most fulfilling plans she'll ever do. =)

I think I am

Despite the heavy rain outside, I see sunshine. Yeah, I see sunshine!

I don't want to think of something beyond the tangible. All I know is that I see sunshine.

That's enough to make me smile in spite of my rotten day. =)

Haze's boithday

At Sakura, Orchard. Yum yum!

I thought this place was ours?

It WAS ours! Yay!

On the other side of Takashimaya. Waiting for the buskers to sing. Hey, wait, they're packing up??

Hazel is officially _ _ years old! Hope you'll find someone to grow old with soon! (Hey, birthday girl, where are you?? =p)

*Cheers, mare! My turn will come in October. Hahaha! ^^

Analyze this

According to my friend, Grace, I overanalyzed things. A simple concept, which I expounded, had turned vague. It left me confused. That's why I failed, she said.

I've finished the test after 15 minutes. We were given 47 minutes to finish the 40-question exam. But I finished mine after 15 minutes. Since I had four unanswered items, I checked on them. After I've finally put a mark on them, I rechecked all that I've done. I guess that's where I failed.

I should have listened to my intuition. I should have stuck to my initial answers. But I amended. I overanalyzed. Until I got confused. I failed.

I cried.

Su, my branch mate, said it's not the end of the world. Yeah. The truth is, there are a lot of us who failed. And the sad reality is, no one in our branch who took that particular exam has passed yet. All of us will be retaking. That's my only consolation. That we are backing up each other.

I just hope that will be the last time I'll be reading that book ever again.

Deja vu?

There comes a time in everyone's life when things just don't accord to one's liking. Wrong decisions. Wrong timing. Wrong thinking. Wrong hair (stupid hair). Good thing the weather's perfect today. The rain summed up all of my resentments.

My hair is naturally curly, and I'm always pissed off when it grows a bit longer and starts to twirl at the wrong side. So I cut it yesterday. I did it by myself, thinking there's no one but me who could. I was imagining it to result amazingly.

Wrong.

I have graduated from the university a long, long time ago. I took up MA; pursued education units. I have done them all. I wormed my way out. It didn't cross my mind I will again be experiencing all those sleepless nights, cramming, and headaches because of terminologies and concepts that are, in truth, unfathomable.

Wrong. Again.

Hay.

I just hope one of these will turn out to be good in the long run. And if I have to choose, I'd rather pass my exams than tame my hair. I need those lifetime certificates than a beautiful physique (if that's even possible ^_^)!

Francism

His boyish look. His husky voice. His patriotism. His lyrics. His music. His rap music. I am not that much of a fan of rap music, but I listen to it. I listen to him. Because it's his. It's him. It's Francis Magalona.

Francis "Kiko" Magalona (1964-2009)

You will be remembered, Kiko. In this kaleidoscope world, you will be remembered.
